Cat. #0015661011: LEILA HYAMS

Scarce and lovely vintage 8x10-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed in blue fountain pen in the late 1920s. In fine condition for its age. Feisty, charismatic silent and early talkie screen actress Leila Hyams is remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for her starring roles in Richard Rosson's The Wizard (1927); Tod Browning's The Thirteenth Chair (1929) and Freaks (1932); and Erle C. Kenton's Island of Lost Souls (1932).
